Photography in your home city is often one of the hardest inspiration hurdles to conquer. Because we’re already familiar with an area, it removes all natural curiosity and exploration. We effectively become commuters rather than travellers.

In this vlog, I wanted to try and do things differently and plan a day similar to how we would when we’re travelling. On a trip, we’d usually find a single point of interest, such as a tall building or viewpoint, and then plan the rest of the day around that.

In today’s vlog, the main focal point was lunch at the Sky Garden; a building I had previously never been up before! Enjoy the views of London across the Thames and look forward to more vlogs with rooftops and viewpoints!
